Manager's Welcome
"Staff have extremely high expectations of children. They ensure that no child is left behind" (OFSTED - September 2022)
I am proud to be the manager of this pre-school for more than 20 years, having worked and volunteered for the group for almost 30 years. As I now only work part time, I am now especially proud to be working alongside my daughter who is sharing this privilege.
Laura, has worked for St. John's under 5's for almost 15 years and in that time has studied to become an Early Years Teacher, and furthered her knowledge by gaining SEND level 3 qualification so is more than qualified to join me in leading this fabulous setting.
I am also proud of how my dedicated staff, continue to strive for excellence in their everyday care and education of the children.
Following on from our 2nd Outstanding judgment, we do not sit on our laurels but continue to build a stronger and richer environment for our children. We constantly look for improvement in all we do and provide.
Our children thrive in the setting as my staff have high expectations in their achievements and abilities.
Our pre-school has now been open for over 30 years, beginning its origins in our local church hall. Over the years we have grown and developed into the pre-school of today, welcoming families from our local community.
We continue to have links with St. John's Church through our committee member so our origins stay true. We also work hard to ensure we have excellent links with our local primary schools, ensuring a smooth and good transition for our children.
We pride ourselves in the friendly, warm welcome you will receive and we work with you to meet the needs of your children. We are always available to offer help and support.
If you would like to know more about this wonderful pre-school, please call in and look around or contact me on 01924 407987.
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the St. John's family.
Warmest Regards
Lorraine Pearson
Manager.
