Chinese New Year 2022
This week we have been celebrating Chinese New Year!
The children attended our Chinese New Year party dressed in party clothes or something red like the Chinese lucky colour. We had singing and dancing, and tried lots of Chinese food. We had a special visit from one of our parents who did a dance and song for the children to celebrate.
Christmas Nativity 2021
The children have been very busy recently learning The Christmas Story. This involves using small world characters to reenact The Christmas Story during this, the children are taught how the first Christmas happened.
This learning is then extended by the children learning a script to present their own nativity for their parents where they are dressed up as characters and explain the story themselves whilst singing festive songs.

Remembrance Day 2021
This year for Remembrance Day, we decided as a setting to make poppy wreaths made by the children to show our respect. We walked up to the park with the children and their parents and hung our wreaths on the memorial. We explained to the children that we were there to show our respect and to acknowledge the courage of those who served their country.
